Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hose Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling high-quality hoses and related components in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail to develop their skills within a supportive team. Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

Assemble hoses using hand tools, specialised equipment according to technical specifications and safety standards.
Inspect components and finished products to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot assembly issues and suggest improvements.
Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during the assembly process.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assist with inventory management by accurately recording parts used and completed assemblies.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Qualifications

Basic mechanical knowledge or experience in assembly work preferred.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.
Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments is desirable.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and technical drawings accurately.
Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Prior experience in assembly roles or related fields will be considered an advantage but is not essential, as training will be provided. Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
