We are looking for a proactive and organised Events Assistant to join our fantastic team at the Brampton Halt. This is a varied role combining administrative duties with hands-on support at events and functions.
The Role
The position is for a minimum of 20 hours per week up to 48 hours depending on workload, including:
- Approximately 10 hours per week of administrative work
- Candidate must have flexibility and availability to work all events and functions as required, including evenings and weekends but not including booked annual leave.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support, including emails, bookings, show arounds, and event documentation
- Assisting with the planning and coordination of events
- Supporting the setup, running, and breakdown of events and functions
- Acting as a point of contact during events to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Supporting the wider team wherever required
About You
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to work events outside standard office hours
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Previous events or admin experience is desirable, but not essential

The Brampton Halt is our largest site with c.400 covers outside and 150 inside. We have a huge patio overlooking a lake, the perfect place to enjoy a pint in the sunshine! We serve high quality pub food and have a large outside BBQ in Summer. We love putting on events such as Oktoberfest, fireworks, carols, Summer parties and beer festivals. We also have the marquee for up to 120 people where we hold all our private events such as weddings, birthdays and work parties which would be your main focus area.
