Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our premises, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is advantageous, but full training will be provided. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment committed to high standards of service and cleanliness.

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to a high standard of hygiene and presentation
Change bed linen, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows as required
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organised manner
Assist with laundry duties when necessary
Ensure all areas are kept tidy during shifts and at the end of each day

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Good organisational skills and reliability
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends if required
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning operations is desirable
