Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Trainee Ear Wax Removal Clinician to join our professional healthcare team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing a specialised skill set within audiology and ear health. The successful candidate will undergo comprehensive training to perform safe and effective ear wax removal procedures, contributing to patient comfort and wellbeing. This paid trainee position is ideal for those looking to start a career in healthcare with a focus on ear care and audiology.

Responsibilities

Assist qualified clinicians in performing ear wax removal procedures in accordance with established health and safety protocols
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise equipment to ensure a hygienic environment
Provide support to patients by explaining procedures and addressing any concerns or questions
Maintain accurate patient records and document treatments performed
Follow clinical guidelines and protocols diligently during all procedures
Participate actively in ongoing training sessions to develop technical skills and clinical knowledge
Support the clinic’s administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to ear health is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Strong interest in healthcare, audiology, or ear care services
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills, able to explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a clinical environment
A professional attitude with a commitment to patient safety and confidentiality
