HR Admin Assistant

Location: Central Trust Office, Haverhill, with hybrid working available after induction and training.

Start date: September 2026.

Salary: Grade 4, SP 9 - 12 (£27,254 - £29,540 pro rata), with access to the Local Government Pension Scheme and 24 days’ holiday per year pro-rata plus bank holidays.

Contract type: Part time, 23 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (worked over 3 days per week, with Tuesday and Friday required and the third working day to be agreed)

Contract term: Temporary (Maternity Cover).

Are you looking for a rewarding new role, or perhaps hoping to start your career in HR? We are seeking a Part Time HR Admin Assistant to join our central services team.

As a first point of contact for the HR helpdesk, you will play an important role in providing a helpful, professional and timely service to colleagues across the Trust.

You will have a busy and varied workload, supporting a range of transactional HR processes including contract changes, recruitment administration, issuing contracts and contract change letters, responding to internal and external queries, maintaining accurate employee records on our HR system and providing user support to staff.
