Royal Norwich Golf Club are looking for the right person to join our team, as Chef de Partie you will assisting our Senior Chefs and running a section at this prestigious Golf Club offering sociable hours.
Are you a passionate, enthusiastic Chef looking to work within a fantastic kitchen team at an amazing venue? Cooking our Classic and adventurous Menu to a very High standard?
We also deliver conference and banqueting as required and can be on a daily basis, with added weddings and gala events from time to time.
Day to day will be taking responsibility for your section, whether it be on Breakfast, cold and snacks, Pastry or even assisting on stove section preparing, cooking and finishing dishes from our menu.
You will be responsible for your section during service when your on shift, to assist the Senior Chef’s in delivering the vision of our menu’s here at Royal Norwich Golf Club, where everything is prepared and cooked fresh. Ensuring you keep the agreed standards, specs, preparation and service of food, ensuring that the highest quality, hygiene and service standards are met and maintained at all times in line with our members and their guests’ expectations.

Skills Needed to Perform the Job
- A knowledge of basic cooking techniques and experience with breakfast items
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices. With a valid Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, and other appliances
- Ability to work in a team effectively with other kitchen and front of house staff.
- Good communication skills to interact with the team and customers where needed
- Ability to organise and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation – Prepare, cook and present food to the company standard in a quick and efficient manner. Assist with the training of the team in food presentation standards. Ensure food quality and consistency are maintained and make sure these standards are delivered by the whole kitchen team.
Compliance with Legislation & Record Keeping – Assist with ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation relating to the operation of the kitchen, health & safety and EHO standards.
Cleanliness & Hygiene –Ensure that high standards of cleanliness are maintained at all times in the kitchen and service areas. Comply with all health & safety requirements as trained. Complete all record checks as directed by your manager
Punctuality – Ensure that you are punctual for work at all times. In the event that you are unable to attend work, please follow the company’s absence reporting procedure as set out in your company handbook.
Teamwork – Support and assist colleagues to ensure efficient service is delivered. Ensure effective communication and cooperation with the team. Actively participate in any training required for your role.
