Job Summary
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking experienced and passionate Pub Managers to join our expanding hospitality business in Herefordshire.

We are looking for a hands on leader who can inspire a team, maintain high operational standards and create memorable guest experiences.

The successful candidate will oversee the day to day operation of a busy country inn and restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, strong team performance, compliance with food safety and licensing requirements, and the efficient running of the business.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing independent business and play a key role in its future success.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the pub and restaurant, ensuring high standards of service and hospitality are maintained.
Ensuring timely delivery of orders while maintaining food safety regulations.
Assist with serving guests, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues promptly.
Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards across all areas in accordance with food safety legislation.
Uphold health and safety policies within the premises, conducting regular checks to ensure compliance.
Handle administrative duties related to bookings, reservations, and daily reporting.

Requirements

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
Extensive restaurant experience
Experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous.
Ability to work independently during busy daytime hours .
Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a vibrant team in a welcoming country pub environment while ensuring operational excellence at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30 to 35K

Expected hours: 45 per week

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
