About KCL KidCityLdn is a premium childcare service placing experienced professionals with visiting international families across London. You are employed directly by KidCityLdn, with full PAYE contract, dedicated Bookings Manager support, and an accompanied start on Day One.
What the role involves A Family Companion placement in Mayfair, 15–31 July 2026, five hours a day. Two children, aged three and five, with days structured around planned activities ,think horse riding in the morning, storytelling theatre in the afternoon. You'll execute the family's vision for their children's London days: managing bookings, liaising with venues, and providing hands-on care throughout. You'll work as part of a small household team alongside the family's own nanny and driver, and report progress directly to Mum via WhatsApp.
What we need
- Confident, warm, and genuinely child-centred, with the presentation and polish suited to a high-profile household
- London-savvy: not just the venues, but the logistics ,parking, access, quieter slots
- Comfortable liaising with venues, hotel staff, and household teams
- Supportive rather than directive ,the family leads the plan, you deliver it
- Enhanced DBS (within 12 months)
- Current paediatric first aid certificate
- Valid proof of identity and right to work in the UK
- Minimum 3 years' professional childcare experience
What we offer £20.00/hr, 25 hrs/week (£26,000 per annum, pro-rata). Direct PAYE employment with accrued holiday PAY, Bookings Manager support throughout, and an accompanied Day One start.
