We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Service Co-ordinator to join a growing business with a welcoming, family-feel environment based in Hertford!
We have recently moved to a new, purpose-built premises in Hertford that’s nearly three times the size of our previous site. This marks a key milestone in our growth journey, and we’re looking for someone who can play a key role in supporting our service operations as we scale.

What you’ll be doing
The Senior Service Co-ordinator will play a key role in overseeing service operations, ensuring the effective planning, coordination, and delivery of installations, service, and breakdown activities while maintaining strong relationships with customers.
✅ Overseeing all service, installations, maintenance, and reactive breakdown activities.
✅ Managing engineer schedules and job prioritisation to meet service delivery targets.
✅ Monitoring job progress, resolving scheduling conflicts, and ensuring smooth operations.
✅ Maintaining accurate service records, documentation, and reporting across systems.
✅ Providing day-to-day supervision and support to the Service Administrator.
✅ Allocating workloads and ensuring service processes are followed consistently.
✅ Acting as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and escalations.
✅ Delivering excellent customer service through proactive communication and follow-up.
✅ Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers.
✅ Using CRM and service systems to track performance and customer interactions.
✅ Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and customer experience.
Experience required
✅ Proven experience in a Service Co-ordination or similar role
✅ Technical experience from engineering or distribution industries would be advantageous
✅ Excellent communication and organisation skills
✅ Strong customer service and relationship management experience
✅ Experience supervising or supporting team members
✅ Knowledge of CRM or service management systems
✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
