Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

As a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer qualified to a recognised level (City & Guilds). You would be required to undertake scheduled Planned Maintenance and reactive requirements.

Reporting into the Contracts Manager and working in partnership with all departments to deliver planned preventative maintenance. Reacting to all repair work in the region mechanical/electrical/fabric plant equipment and general property maintenance.

Mobile phone, tablet and uniform would be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Travelling between client sites to maintain and repair mechanical building services equipment.
Working on HVAC systems, pumps, motors, boilers, pipework, and associated plant.
Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
Diagnosing faults and completing service reports using a tablet.
Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota for emergency breakdowns.
Covering a regional area using a company van.

Location:

East region

Hours of Work:

Monday-Friday - 42.5 hours per week with overtime starting after 47.5 hours

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Vented/Unvented G3 qualification
Commercial Gas (All Modules)
Experience performing works with Mechanical pipework services, valves, motors, pumps, bearings, HVAC Plant & equipment.
Extensive experience in General Building services Industry relevant qualifications-I.e. plumbing repairs etc.
Recognised qualification in at least one Maintenance/ Engineering discipline.
To carry out repairs/replacement of plant, fixtures and fittings as required
To carry out servicing and repairs of onsite plant, fixtures, and fittings
To organise various housekeeping tasks and arrangements
