About the Role
We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join our growing engineering team.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in CNC turning and, importantly, hands-on experience operating Dugard turning machines. You will be responsible for producing high-quality precision components to engineering drawings and required specifications.

Key Responsibilities
Set and operate Dugard CNC turning machines.
Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
Set tooling, offsets and workholding accurately.
Produce precision components to tight tolerances.
Carry out first-off and in-process inspections.
Use measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers and gauges.
Make adjustments to offsets and tooling as required.
Identify and resolve machining and quality issues.
Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
Complete work to production schedules and required deadlines.
Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Keep the machine and work area clean and organised.
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience as a CNC Turner.
Proven experience operating Dugard CNC turning machines.
Good knowledge of CNC turning processes and tooling.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Experience working to tight tolerances.
Good understanding of feeds, speeds and tooling.
Competent use of precision measuring equipment.
A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A reliable, hardworking and positive attitude.
Dugard machine experience is essential for this role.
