The Role
We're looking for a motivated and organised Assessment Delivery Officer to join our friendly team. Reporting to the Assessment Delivery Team Lead, you'll be at the heart of our assessment operations – ensuring our examinations run smoothly and that centres and learners receive the highest standard of service throughout.
This is a varied and rewarding role that would suit someone who thrives in a busy environment, takes pride in getting the details right, and genuinely cares about delivering an excellent experience for every stakeholder they work with.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing centres with the information and guidance needed to admit learners onto NEBDN assessments
- Organising and administering examinations across our full qualification portfolio
- Supporting the entries process and allocating examiners to assessment sessions
- Assisting with the production of exam papers and marking sheets using NEBDN's exam software
- Supporting the delivery of marking and the timely production of results
- Assisting with the award of qualifications and distribution of certificates
- Handling learner appeals in line with correct procedures
- Monitoring exam equipment stock and placing orders where necessary
- Contributing to the development of new assessment methods when required
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Qualifications to at least GCSE standard in Maths and English (or equivalent experience)
- Strong administrative experience, ideally within an educational setting
- Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate data inputting
- A proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Experience delivering excellent customer service
- A flexible approach, including willingness to work evenings and weekends when required
- Ability to travel for business when required, including occasional overnight stays
Desirable:
- Experience working with curricula, examination, or assessment plans
- A full UK driving licence
