Full job description

PB Forestry and Landscaping are a leading provider of vegetation management, forestry, landscaping, ecological and infrastructure support services across the UK. Our reputation is built on safety, quality, reliability and environmental responsibility.

The Role

As an estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders and estimates for a wide range of projects including vegetation management, forestry, landscaping, ecological works and associated services.

You will work closely with our operational, commercial and management teams to ensure we deliver value for our clients and grow our business.

Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
Analyse plans, specifications and drawings
Source, evaluate materials, subcontractors and suppliers
Measure quantities and produce bills of quanties
Identify risks and opportunities to ensure competitive pricing
Support contract award and handover to operational teams
Maintain and build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors

What we are looking for

Proven experience as an estimator within vegetation management, landscaping, forestry or civil engineering
Strong knowledge of estimating methods, materials and industry standards
Proficient in using estimator software (Causeway, PSS, Bluebeam, Microsoft excel)
Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills
Full UK driving licence (no major infringements- IN, DD, CD, DG, DR)
