The Ravenswood specialises in being an exclusive wedding venue. Set in the rolling countryside of West Sussex, the venue offers acres of landscaped lawns, gardens and woodland. These beautiful surroundings together with a great team of staff create an unforgettable atmosphere for a fantastic wedding day.

We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Receptionist to join our team.

The role will include but not be limited to:

-Guest check in and outs.

-Answering the phones and taking reservations and replying to incoming emails.

-Assisting in house guests where needed.

- Admin duties including daily tasks. Word and Excel experience is required

-Liaising with other departments to ensure a smooth running of our weddings & events.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has excellent communication skills and has the ability to work well and confidently on their own in a highly pressured environment.

You must have strong organisation skills and strong written and verbal communication skills. You must have experience in a face to face role and be a team player.

Previous experience in a similar role is essential but full training will be provided.

You will be required to work a minimum of 24hrs a week over 4 days. Shift Patterns and days will vary each week but it will include every Saturday or Sunday with one full weekend off a month. Reception opening hours are 7.30am-20:00pm, split between 5 and 9hr shifts. This role is for someone who is 100% flexible and is able to take on additional shifts to cover staff holidays.

Our business is open all day every day so you will need to be flexible with the days you can work and have no restrictions. Due to our location you must be able to drive and have your own transport.
