Piercer – Tattoo Studio
We are seeking a skilled, professional, and customer-focused Piercer to join our tattoo studio team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality body piercing services while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and customer care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of body piercing procedures safely and professionally.
Conduct client consultations to discuss placement, jewellery options, aftercare, and suitability for procedures.
Ensure all procedures comply with health, safety, and sterilisation regulations and studio policies.
Maintain accurate client records, consent forms, and aftercare documentation.
Educate clients on proper aftercare practices and provide ongoing support where required.
Prepare, sterilise, and maintain equipment, instruments, and workstations.
Monitor stock levels of jewellery, supplies, and consumables, reporting replenishment needs when necessary.
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming studio environment.
Work collaboratively with tattoo artists and studio staff to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Keep up to date with industry trends, techniques, and best practices.
Requirements
Previous professional body piercing experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of hygiene, infection control, and sterilisation procedures.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work confidently with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Professional appearance and attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant licences, certifications, or registrations required by local regulations.
Desirable Qualifications
First Aid certification.
Bloodborne Pathogens training or equivalent health and safety certification.
Experience with a broad range of piercing techniques and jewellery types.
Established portfolio of previous work and healed results.
