As we scale towards a leading UK design and build brand, we are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with strong sales ability to help drive high-value project wins and oversee successful delivery.
The Role
We are looking for a commercially astute Senior Project Manager who is also confident in closing construction projects valued between £50,000 and £500,000+.
This hybrid role combines project delivery oversight with projects aquasitions. You will manage leads, close deals, coordinate execution, and site managers while ensuring each project is delivered to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities - Sales
- Convert qualified inquiries into signed construction projects
- Close deals ranging from £50,000 to £500,000+
- Build strong client rapport and secure upfront deposits
- Generate new opportunities through:
- Architect and interior design referrals
- Local estate agents and property developers
- Social and homeowner networks
- Property events and community groups
- Collaborate with the sales and design team to offer full turnkey packages
Project Management
- Oversee all active construction sites from mobilisation to completion
- Lead and mentor a team of site managers and trades
- Manage timelines, procurement, materials, subcontractors, and inspections
- Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet client expectations
- Maintain site efficiency, quality control, and health & safety standards
Commercial & Strategic Leadership
- Build a reliable and scalable sales pipeline
- Ensure team KPIs and targets are met across sales and delivery
- Optimise operational costs and protect gross margins
- Use systems and workflows to streamline delivery and scale output
- Report directly to the company founder/director and collaborate on growth initiatives
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in construction project management
- Proven track record of closing high-value deals
- Excellent negotiation and client-facing skills
- Strong network within the property, build or interiors sectors
- Ability to lead, motivate and build high-performing teams
- Understanding of build programs, drawings, contracts, and compliance
- Commercially minded with focus on profitability, cash flow, and scaling
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-end residential market
