Full job description

Richmond Physiotherapy is looking for a talented Sports rehab therapist to work alongside our team of specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapists. A minimum of 1-2 years post-graduate experience including some work within a private practice OR clinic-based setting is essential.

You should have the necessary skills to be able to perform basic level injury assessments and be confident with delivering a variety of treatment techniques and exercise programmes to help facilitate optimal recovery.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

· assisting with the rehabilitation of patients of all ages and physical levels of fitness.

· Working with patient’s on a 1:1

· leading some of the various rehabilitation classes that we run within our fully equipped gym/rehab space.

· Performing some sports/therapeutic massage and a willingness to help/support patients with this aspect of her recovery. You must therefore have the relevant professional qualification in this area (BASraT, ITEC or similar).

Excellent communication skills and being able to work as part of a structured team are vital.

The role will initially be part-time (20 hours per week) which will also include some administrative tasks within the clinic. We fully expect these hours to increase over time and could easily become full-time once you start to establish a regular client base.

You must be available to work the following days time:

- Mondays 9-1pm

- Tuesdays 8.30-12.30pm

- Wednesdays 9-12pm

- Thursdays 8.30-12.30pm

- Friday 9-12pm

Please note, the successful applicant will be expected to work flexibly in order to meet the overall needs of the position.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and be able to speak an advanced level of English.
