Role:
The Information Security Support Analyst role will initially focus on helping the business implement a new Information Security Management System (ISMS) working within an ISO 27001 framework. This entry-level role is based on-site in Hinckley, with optional occasional travel to our Farnborough site. It offers an excellent entry point into cyber security and systems administration. Reporting into the Systems & Planning Manager, with a dotted line into the Business Intelligence Analyst.
You will initially embed yourself within various departments to audit, classify, and migrate documents to SharePoint. This hands-on process can give you a deep understanding of our aerospace manufacturing workflows. Working within a small, experienced team, over the medium term, you will receive direct support and coaching to transition into enterprise systems management, involving Epicor ERP support, data analysis, and business intelligence (KPI) development.
Key Responsibilities;
ISMS Implementation & ISO 27001 Support (Primary Focus)
· Coach colleagues on-site to help them adhere to new security policies.
· Support users as they adapt to new security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
· Maintain registers to accurately track information such as company assets and security risks.
· Promote alignment with ISO 27001. Coordinating evidence collection for ISO 27001 certification (audit trails, training completion records, patch reports)
· Supporting the IS Manager with internal audits
Document Classification & SharePoint Migration
· Integrate with departments to understand their document housekeeping & data classification requirements, giving exposure to various manufacturing workflows.
· Migrate documents from local drives to structured SharePoint libraries, in collaboration with departmental needs.
· Utilise process insights to identify future reporting and KPI opportunities.
Systems, Data & ERP Development (Medium-Term Evolution)
· Learn Epicor ERP system administration under the guidance of senior team members.
· Provide support for internal Epicor user queries and troubleshooting.
· Develop reports and custom dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
· Design screens and operational workflows within the Epicor ecosystem.
Skills and Qualifications;
Essential Criteria
· Interest or familiarity with information security principles and data privacy.
· Willingness to work on-site in Hinckley, with (optional) occasional travel to Farnborough.
· Adaptability to shadow different teams and learn manufacturing workflows.
· Communication skills to explain policies patiently and coach users face-to-face.
· Organisational skills to manage document structures and data classification.
Desirable Criteria (Full Support & Coaching Provided)
· Basic knowledge of ISO 27001 frameworks or IS compliance.
· Familiarity with SharePoint, advanced Excel, or Power BI.
A desire to learn ERP systems administration (specifically Epicor).

39 hours a week, onsite:
Mon-Thurs 07:30 to 16:30
Fri 07:30 to 12:30
Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
