Full job description

We are looking to employ a friendly hotel receptionist & front of house assistant to join our team working evening and weekends. We are a 20 bedroomed hotel, campsite and very busy wedding venue and are looking for a proactive, allrounder with excellent customer service skills.

What the job includes –

Welcoming and checking guests in/out with our friendly service
Serving drinks at the hotel bar
Taking evening meal orders & serving food to tables
Helping in the kitchen (light duties)
Handling and resolving queries from hotel guests
Ensuring all charges are posted to guests bills
Answering email enquiries
Answering calls and taking telephone reservations
Helping our wedding couples with bedroom allocations
Full understanding of our business and systems

What we’re looking for –

A minimum of 16 hours per week over 2 or 3 days on a rota. The successful applicant will be a good allrounder with a proactive approach.
Evening & Weekends with the odd day shift in the week to cover holidays.
Excellent communication and numeracy skills are required and being able to multitask is essential!
Hospitality experience invaluable
Computer literacy
Own vehicle essential due to location – free on site parking
