We’re an independent retailer of craft, traditional and foreign bottled beer with shops and tasting rooms based in St Albans, Hitchin and Bishop Stortford in Hertfordshire. The most important thing about Beer Shop is the service our team provides to our customers. We’re looking for someone who’s keen to start or continue a career in the craft beer industry. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate they can work proactively, are highly motivated to work independently and can provide outstanding customer service. We’re looking to employ someone who is energised to work in the craft beer sector and excited to share their knowledge.
What
You will work around 40 hours per week during our opening hours, spread across 5 days per week. Flexibility, weekend and evening working is essential. You will sometimes be required to work additional hours to provide cover. You’ll work front of house day-to-day and assist with ordering stock and other clerical duties. You’ll work all aspects of the shop floor, cellar and stock inventory.
