Setonia Tiling Ltd is a specialist porcelain fabrication company based in Hockley, Essex, producing high-end bespoke products for residential and commercial projects throughout the UK. Our work includes porcelain worktops, vanity units, stair treads, cladding panels, hearths and custom architectural features, all manufactured to the highest standards.
We are looking for an experienced Bespoke Porcelain Fabricator / Stonemason to join our growing workshop team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in porcelain or stone fabrication, excellent attention to detail, and experience producing mitred and bespoke fabricated pieces. Applicants must be able to confidently read and interpret CAD drawings, fabrication details and production programmes to accurately manufacture projects to specification.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Fabricate bespoke porcelain products to the highest standard.
- Produce and assemble mitred worktops, vanity units, stair treads and other custom features.
- Carry out edge polishing, finishing and detailing work.
- Perform resin work, repairs and colour matching where required.
- Read and interpret CAD drawings, technical drawings and fabrication programmes.
- Work accurately from detailed production files and fabrication drawings.
- Inspect finished products to ensure exceptional quality standards are maintained.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
- Contribute ideas and solutions to improve fabrication processes and quality.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a porcelain fabricator, stonemason, bench mason, worktop fabricator or large-format porcelain tiler.
- Ability to confidently read and understand CAD drawings and fabrication programmes.
- Strong experience with mitred fabrication and bespoke fabrication techniques.
- Experience with porcelain finishing, polishing and resin work.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Desirable Skills
- Experience fabricating porcelain worktops and bespoke architectural features.
- Experience using SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Forklift Licence.
- Experience working with large-format porcelain slabs.

Experience Required
- Porcelain fabrication: 3 years (preferred)
- Stonemasonry / worktop fabrication: 3 years (preferred)
- Large-format porcelain tiling: 3 years (preferred)
