Car Care Service Centres Limited, has been servicing north Devon for over 40 years, and is now almost 18 months into its modernisation programme following a change of ownership at the start of 2025. Building on the foundations, we have invested heavily in people, tooling, and technology, and are currently refreshing the branding and some of our processes to support this. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals to identify vehicle issues
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension
- Utilise hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components
- Execute assembly tasks accurately following manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Carry out welding and equipment repair as required to restore vehicle integrity
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid replacements
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work performed
- Ensure all repairs meet safety regulations and quality standards
- Support the team with heavy lifting tasks and the handling of large or complex components
Skills
- You will have plenty of past experience (our junior / apprentice roles for 2026 have now been filled) and ideally be a qualified MOT Tester, and EV Trained to L3, if not, that’s ok - training will be made available for the right candidate. Outside of formal qualifications you should be able to complete work individually, and / or as part of a team, to a high standard, and efficiently with attention to detail.

Pay: £32,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
