Management Accountant
Location: Bournemouth / Hybrid
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE

The Opportunity
This isn’t your standard Management Accountant role.
You’ll be joining a growing Finance team in a newly created position where your remit goes far beyond P&L reporting. Working closely with the Finance Director and Board of Directors, you’ll play a key role in shaping insight, improving processes, and helping the business make smarter decisions.
This position is ideally suited to someone who has already developed strong management accounting expertise and is confident operating independently in a fast-paced business. You'll need to be comfortable taking ownership of key finance activities, whilst also contributing strategic insight that supports business performance.
You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, think differently, embrace new technologies (including AI), and get involved in everything from financial modelling and data analysis to systems and business transformation.

What You’ll Be Doing-
Producing budgets, forecasts, and financial models that support business planning
- Delivering insightful, story-led analysis to the Finance Director and Board
- Investigating variances and identifying commercial risks and opportunities
- Supporting strategic decision-making with meaningful financial insight
- Working across data, systems, and reporting processes to improve efficiency
- Getting involved in business-wide projects and process improvements
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and financial requirements
- Supporting and mentoring others where needed
What we’re looking for:
We're looking for a qualified Management Accountant who combines strong technical expertise with a passionate, dynamic and proactive approach.
Essential:-
ACA qualified (or equivalent)

Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

A proactive, self-starting approach with natural curiosity

Strong commercial awareness and confidence to challenge and influence
