About Us

We are a well-established fastener distribution company supplying high-quality fastening products to customers across a wide range of industries. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, product knowledge, and building long-term relationships with our customers and suppliers.

We are looking for a motivated and organised Internal Sales & Purchasing Assistant to join our team. This is a varied role that combines customer service, sales support, purchasing, and general office administration.

Key Responsibilities

- Processing customer enquiries and preparing quotations.
- Receiving and processing customer orders accurately.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
- Liaising with suppliers to obtain prices, availability, and delivery information.
- Raising purchase orders and monitoring supplier deliveries.
- Managing stock replenishment and helping maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Resolving customer and supplier queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Working closely with the warehouse team to ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate records using the company's software system.
- Supporting the sales team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Assisting in achieving company sales and customer service objectives.

The Ideal Candidate

- Previous experience in an internal sales, customer service, purchasing, or office administration role.
- Experience within the fastener, engineering, industrial, or distribution sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and computer-based business systems.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- A team player who can also work independently.
