Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Printer specialising in Flexographic printing to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing presses, ensuring high-quality output, and adhering to safety and production standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a different background in printing to learn how to run our Edale FL5 Carton Presses. Full Training provided.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor flexographic printing presses to produce printed materials according to specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to minimise downtime.
Prepare printing plates, inks, and substrates prior to production runs.
Conduct quality checks throughout the printing process to ensure colour accuracy and print clarity.
Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain optimal print quality and efficiency.
Assist with the assembly of printed components and manage material handling within the production area.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Colour Matching
Work In BRC accredited working enviroment.

Skills

Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand and troubleshoot printing machinery.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when moving materials or finished products.
Strong assembly skills with attention to detail for finishing printed items accurately.
Good organisational skills with the capacity to work efficiently within a fast-paced setting.
Flexibility to adapt to changing production schedules and tasks as needed. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to expand their technical expertise within a specialised printing environment while contributing to high-quality production standards.

Working Hours -

Rotating Shifts - Week 1 - 6.30 - 14.30pm Mon - Fri Week 2 - 11am - 8pm Mon - Thursday.

Pay: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
