Full job description

37.5 hours per week – 5 x 7.5 hour shifts – Alternative weekends

As a Domestic Assistant at Hamilton Park, you will play a vital role within our friendly team as an Infection Control Champion, ensuring that the environment is kept clean, safe, and welcoming at all times.

We are looking forward to welcoming someone who is hardworking, reliable, and enjoys being part of a supportive and friendly team.

Some of the Domestic Assistant responsibilities include:

Carry out all cleaning duties as directed in the cleaning tasks folder
Ensure that daily and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to
Ensure the cleaning folder is completed with tasks carried out on each shift
Maintain a high standard of personal cleanliness and hygiene
Ensure all cleaning equipment is used correctly, safely, and stored appropriately in the cleaning cupboard
Ensure cleaning equipment is clearly labelled for different areas, such as toilets and dining rooms
Report low cleaning stock levels to administration for ordering
Be sensitive to the privacy and dignity of residents at Hamilton Park
Comply with all COSHH regulations
Adhere to infection prevention and control policies at all times
Ensure the correct use of PPE
Ensure the cleaning trolley is restocked at the end of each shift and cleaning cupboards are left clean and tidy
