Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Café Assistant Manager to lead our vibrant team at GreenAcres Cafe and ensure an exceptional experience for every guest. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, support food and beverage service, and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and hospitality. Your leadership will inspire team members to deliver outstanding service while managing the smooth running of the café environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily café operations, ensuring efficient service and a welcoming atmosphere for customers
Lead, motivate, and manage the team to deliver top-tier hospitality experiences
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold cleanliness standards across all areas
Assist with food production tasks, including preparing ingredients and supporting menu execution
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor stock to prevent shortages or waste
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a positive environment

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting with strong team management skills
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
Experience in food production and kitchen operations within a restaurant or hotel environment
Barista experience is highly desirable for delivering quality coffee beverages
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
Familiarity with hospitality standards, serving protocols, and maintaining high levels of cleanliness and safety
