Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pub restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a true passion for hospitality, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service and maintains high standards. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for supervising staff and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Lead and manage all aspects of the restaurant's operations front-of-house.
Develop and maintain a strong local reputation and customer loyalty.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure smooth operations.
Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and encouraging staff development.
Monitor customer satisfaction and address any concerns or feedback promptly to enhance the dining experience.
Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Coordinate marketing activities, promotions and seasonal events to drive footfall.
Assist in budgeting and financial planning to achieve operational goals.

Requirements

Proven experience in a managerial role within a restaurant or food service environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Knowledge of food safety regulations.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
A charismatic, friendly, confident and outgoing person with a love for hospitality, meeting new people and being creative.
