- Position: SIA Matchday Security Supervisor / Senior Door Supervisor (5 Hours match )

- Base Pay: £13.00
- Contract: Casual / Variable hours (Saturday afternoons and midweek evenings)
- Mandatory Requirement: Must hold an active, valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) Licence
Supervisor & DS Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise a designated section of 3 safety stewards and SIA guards, ensuring they are correctly positioned and brief them before kickoff and integrated into volunteers
- Ejection & Physical Intervention: Deal directly with hostile situations, drunk and disorderly behavior, or spectators breaching stadium regulations. Safely eject individuals from the venue using approved physical intervention techniques if necessary.
- Search Protocols: Oversee stadium entry points and supervise the search teams handling bag checks, body scanning, and metal detection to prevent prohibited items from entering.
- Incident Management: Act as the primary point of contact for stewards facing escalated crowd control issues and coordinate directly with the Safety Officer or Control Room via radio.
- Evacuation & Response: Lead emergency response teams during crowd surges, pitch invasions, or emergency stadium evacuations.
Refined Candidate Requirements
- Licensing: Valid, front-line SIA Door Supervisor Licence is strictly mandatory.
- Experience: Proven history in stadium security, event crowd management, or a supervisory role within the security industry.
- Qualifications: Possession of NVQ Level 3 in Spectator Safety is highly preferred for supervisors.
- Vetting: Clean checkable history to clear BS7858 security vetting standards.
