We are looking for a CNC Setter/Operator/Programmer to join our busy team in Walberton, Arundel.
The Role
As CNC Setter/Operator/Programmer, your main responsibilities will be:
·Using CAD/CAM drawing software (Easystone/AutoCAD) to generate programme.
· Operating our 4-axis CNC machine ensuring it is smoothly run and maintained.
· Programming, setting up and operating the CNC machine.
· Carry out daily H&S checks and general maintenance of machine.
· Handle materials appropriately and according to training guidelines to avoid damage to products.
· Ensure finished goods are inspected regular intervals and in accordance with relevant procedures, ensuring products are produced to a high standard.
· Work within tight tolerances using measuring tools such as a digital Vernier, tape measures, rulers etc.
· Ability to interpret line drawings is essential.
· Reporting any issues and liaising with our support teams in Italy to solve basic faults that may arise.
· Consistently follow health and safety rules when operating machinery and moving about the workshop floor.
· Use personal protective equipment correctly according to guidance and training.
· General Health & safety awareness and compliance with all H&S policies and procedures.
· Undertake good housekeeping, tidying working areas.
Occasionally you will be required to support the other teams in the business, possibly with installations onsite, or delivering, so you must be able to meet the physical demands of that, plus be able to drive with a full , clean, UK license.

Experience/Qualifications
Experience as a CNC Setter/Operator/Programmer for a 4 axis CNC.
Essential
CAD/CAM such as Easystone/AutoCAD/SolidWorks or any other technical drawing software (predominantly 2D with some 3D aspects).
IT Proficient (Outlook, Word, WhatsApp, File Management)
· Ability to interpret line drawings is essential.
Able to work from physical and digital templates and technical drawings.
Setting/operating a CNC mill.
Maintaining tool/machining’s database.
· Demonstrable previous machine/workshop experience in an Engineering environment is essential.
·Experience with CAD drawing programmes essential.
Preferred
Forklift certified.
Slinger/Signaller Qualified.
Use of overhead cranes.
Any experience within a similar role or within the stone industry would be beneficial.
