Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Engineer Assistent to join our team and drive excellence in maintaining our facilities and equipment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise, leadership skills, and passion for problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and reliability across our manufacturing or industrial sites. Your energetic approach and commitment to quality will help us maintain high standards and continuous improvement.

Duties

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics, technical manuals, and your knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
Repair or replace faulty components using welding techniques, electrical experience, and mechanical knowledge to restore equipment functionality swiftly.
Program, monitor, and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize automation processes.
Read and interpret schematics to accurately diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
Supervise maintenance activities, coordinate with team members, and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed during all operations.
Lead small teams or projects, providing guidance and mentorship to junior technicians while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Skills

Strong electrical experience with the ability to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding, machining, or similar repair techniques.
Proficiency in working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting and programming.
Excellent maintenance skills combined with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
Supervising experience with a focus on team leadership, task delegation, and performance management.
Customer service mindset with effective communication skills in English to liaise with internal teams and external vendors.
Demonstrated leadership qualities that motivate teams, promote safety standards, and drive operational excellence.
