We have an opportunity for you to come and join our Children in our Care Service a team that works specifically with children and young people in our care. We are looking for a social worker who has experience of working with and supporting children in our care as well as working in other safeguarding environments. You will be responsible for a caseload of children in our care and will also work on a team duty rota, as and when needed.
We want you to have the right conditions to do your best work and you’ll get expert guidance, innovative resources, and a nurturing team. Our model of restorative and systemic practice ensures you’re always learning, growing, and supported every step of the way.

About Us

We encourage continual CPD and allow for protected time for you to do this. All our social workers are offered a yearly professional development review (My Conversation) to support your next career steps.

We provide a solid induction into social work for oursocial workers, with a gradual increase in caseload and complexity ofwork.

We offer high quality reflective supervision monthly and all our team leaders are trained in reflective and systemic supervision. There are opportunities for group and reflective supervision delivered by advance practitioners too. ASYE’s will have a reflective mentor to offer additional space to think and learn outside of your team.

As our services are integrated, so there’s a wealth of expert advice all around you. We provide opportunities to seek specialist advice and consultation from various services such as our IROs, Aspire service for domestic abuse and complex safeguarding, and our disability and short breaks team.
