Full job description

Sous Chef / Junior Sous Chef

The Pipe and Glass are searching for a talented, motivated individual to join our friendly kitchen team in our East Yorkshire award-winning Michelin Star pub.

If you have a genuine passion for cooking and working with great ingredients, an eye for detail and an enthusiasm for creating unforgettable experiences for our guests, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

The chef will work closely alongside our head chef to inspire the kitchen team in their daily duties. This is the ideal opportunity for a professional chef looking to progress their career in a top-class kitchen.

Role to include:

Preparation and cooking of dishes at a high standard
Supervisory duties
Ordering and stock management
Training and development of the kitchen team

Candidate specification:

Must be aware of, and conform to, all health and hygiene regulations.
Confidence in leading the kitchen team
Previous experience at Chef de Partie level or higher
Professional, enthusiastic attitude
Eligible to work in the UK

4-day week with Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Bank Holiday Mondays off.
