Are you an experienced LGV Driver, with a current class 2 licence and valid CPC card?

About The Role

Location: Springfield House, Lower Eccleshill Road, Darwen, BB3 0RP.

RoRo driving essential.

Salary: £30,647.24 per annum, Hourly rate £13.41 plus 1.25% for Saturday and 1.5% for Sunday working.
Working 37 hours per week.
Shift pattern: Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
Start times are: 08:00 am to 17:15 pm including 45 minute paid lunch break.
Bank holiday working as per the rostered days @1.5%.
Included in Salary enhancements for weekend working.

What will I be doing?

The role will involve the driving and operation of vehicles collecting Industrial and Commercial waste and recycling from our customers, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.

What are the requirements?

You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team, delivering a high level of customer service.

The role also requires:

An LGV Class 2 license as well as a CPC card are essential.
Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable though not essential.
Experience of working with recycling vehicles, roll on roll off containers, is preferred but not essential as training will be given where necessary.
