We are now seeking an ambitious and innovative Digital Learning and Innovation Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of teaching, learning and digital practice across the College.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Teaching and Learning Development, you will lead the strategic development and implementation of digital learning across the College. This is a high-impact leadership role, translating ambitious digital strategies into practical, measurable improvements in teaching, learning and student outcomes.
You will:
- Drive the digital learning strategy, aligning with Ofsted expectations, sector priorities and college improvement plans
- Lead and develop the eLearning team, embedding high-quality, innovative digital practices across the curriculum
- Champion the effective use of digital technologies, AI, immersive learning and online platforms to enhance engagement and outcomes
- Oversee the development of accessible, inclusive and high-quality eLearning resources that support all learners
- Design and deliver a college-wide digital skills programme for students and apprentices, including digital wellbeing, eSafety and critical thinking
- Work collaboratively across teams to deliver impactful staff development, training and digital innovation projects
- Provide strategic insight through data, reporting and evaluation to inform continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a creative and strategic leader who is passionate about digital learning and its impact on student success.
You will bring:
- A teaching qualification and relevant degree or specialist qualification
- Strong experience in digital learning development and digital innovation within the FE sector
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects and drive expertise in digital platforms (e.g. VLE/Moodle, Microsoft tools) and emerging technologies
- Expertise in Artificial intelligence
- Experience of delivering staff development and improving teaching, learning and assessment
- Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills with the ability to influence across the organisation
- Most importantly, you will be committed to innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement, with a clear vision for how digital can transform learning.
