Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Care Navigator / Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing excellent patient service, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the smooth operation of the medical practice. The successful candidate will play a vital part in coordinating patient care and ensuring efficient clinic functioning. Prior office experience is desirable, but a positive attitude and organisational skills are essential. Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and rescheduling requests
Handle incoming calls, messages, and enquiries professionally and promptly
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and document management
Support the clinical team with necessary administrative support to ensure seamless patient care delivery
Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and organised at all times
Comply with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards in all tasks undertaken

Skills

Previous office or administrative experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is important
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
Friendly, professional demeanour with a caring attitude towards patients
Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel)
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies
