You’ll be part of the dedicated Amazon team at the delivery station – the last stop before we deliver smiles to customers. Our fast-paced, active roles receive trucks full of orders, then prepare them for delivery. You’ll load conveyor belts, and transport and stage deliveries to be picked up by drivers.
Basic Job Requirements
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 23kg
- Lift up to 38kg using the Tilt-Push-Slide technique
- Lift up to 120kg using a sack truck
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- You may be required to handle a full range of Amazon products, including alcohol, pork, beef and other animal products

- Receive and prepare packages for delivery
- Use technology like scanners and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans
- Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
- Receive truck deliveries of customer packages
Schedule Options
- Shift Options. Early Morning, Day, Evening and Night.
- Weekly Hours. Full-Time (40 hours), Reduced-Time (30-39 hours), Part-Time (20-29 hours), Flex-Time (0-19 hours).
- Schedule Options. Delivery Stations offer fixed schedules, so youll know your routine. From time to time, your working hours, shift patterns, and breaks may be adjusted to meet customer demand — including potential changes between day, late, and night shifts. We also operate peak and non-peak periods throughout the year, so your hours and patterns may vary with the seasons. Any changes will always comply with applicable statutory requirements.

Safety Your Workspace
- Safety. Your safety is our top priority. We provide protective gear and all teams share safety tips daily. Our state-of-the-art facilities are clean, well-organised, and designed with your safety in mind.
- Equipment. You’ll be operating and working around moving equipment – mobile cards, rolling cages, etc.
- Physical Activity. Some activities may require standing in one place for long periods, walking around, or climbing stairs.
Work Conditions
- Temperature. Climate-controlled facilities maintain temperatures between 15°C and 32°C in most areas. On hot days, temperatures can exceed 32°C and on cold days temperatures can reach below freezing.
- Noise level. It can get noisy at times. We provide hearing protection if you need it.
- Dress code. Relaxed and comfortable. Closed-toe shoes required. All necessary PPE is provided.
