Deputy Home Manager – Children and Young people with Learning and physical Disabilities

Location: Woolston, Southampton area

Salary: £35388 rising to £37,605 p/a plus an additional £62.64 per sleep in

Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle are essential in this role.

As a Deputy Manager, you will be an integral part of our welcoming and knowledgeable leadership team, being part of a region of 9 children’s homes, with the backing of a growing, national organisation, where you will be actively encouraged to be creative and bring your own unique skills and have the opportunity to influence change.

We have a mix of boys and girls, aged 8 - 18 and promote independence and dignity, providing a place where our young peoples voices are valued and respected whatever their methods of communication

You will be supported to gain level 5 qualifications, to grow and develop into future leaders and to take on additional responsibilities which will give you the confidence to step up to manage the home when needed.

Requirements

2 years’ experience working within a Residential Children’s home either as a Senior or at Deputy level.
NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People
Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
Experience with budgets and rotas
A full UK driving licence
