Full job description

Teaching Tomorrow is working with a welcoming, OFSTED-rated \u2018Good' secondary school in Biggleswade, who are looking to appoint a passionate and experienced Humanities/Geography teacher to join their team in the new academic year. This is a permanent position starting in September 2026 and is ideal for someone who nurtures and develops our students' geographical knowledge.

The role:

Delivering high-quality Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4
Encouraging critical thinking and discussion in the classroom
Managing behaviour effectively and creating a positive learning atmosphere
Assess and evaluate student performance through regular testing and feedback.
Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and respect.
Uphold school policies and contribute to a positive school culture

The ideal candidate will:

Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Have experience teaching one or more Humanities subjects
Be flexible, reliable, and confident in new classroom settings
Demonstrate strong classroom management skills

Teaching Tomorrow is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
