Full job description

Reception & Front of House Assistant

Are you confident, organised and great with people?

We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Reception & Front of House Assistant to join our team for the summer season.

As the first point of contact for many of our guests, this is an important role at the heart of our business. You’ll help create a warm welcome while supporting the smooth running of our independent, family-run inn.

The role will include:

Welcoming guests and assisting with check-ins
Answering telephone and email enquiries professionally
Helping guests with questions and requests
Learning and using our online booking and reservation systems
Supporting the wider front of house team
Serving breakfast, lunch and/or dinner in our restaurant

Full training will be provided, so previous hotel experience is a bonus, but not essential.

We’re looking for someone who is:

Confident and articulate
Friendly, polite and professional
Reliable and responsible
Organised with good attention to detail
Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
A natural team player

This would be an ideal opportunity for anyone looking to gain valuable experience in hospitality, customer service and business operations.
