Full job description

Are you a proactive, detail-oriented Quality Improvement Lead looking to take the step in your career? If so, join our compassionate team at the Lakefield Neurological Centre, a specialist service supporting people with neurological conditions.

With a strong grasp of governance, safeguarding, and contractual reporting, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, you’ll be equipped to lead initiatives that not only meet standards but raise them. Your ability to analyse data with clarity, influence change with integrity, and embed best practice will help ensure our care remains safe, effective, and person-centred.

What you will be doing:

Quality Improvement Lead, you’ll work closely with clinical teams and senior leaders:

To monitor completion of clinical quality audits and associated action plans.
To oversee clinical competencies and ensure compliance throughout the unit.
Oversee cascading of lessons learned and ensure changes are embedded.
Provide assurances within the governance framework with regards to clinical quality compliance
To lead quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
Work closely with the training department with maintaining high compliance.
To ensure that both internal and external compliance measures are achieved and maintained and enabled to be evidenced.
Monitor, report and escalate any clinical risks or concerns associated with audit processes.
Support with trend analysis from audits and clinical information and escalate accordingly.
Support the compilation of reports for governance and communicate findings and content within the meeting.
To lead on service improvements initiatives based on internal and external repots and action plans.

You’ll be a key driver of quality assurance, helping us to acheive a "good" our CQC rating and build on our commitment to safe, responsive care.

What You’ll Bring

Experience in a neurological setting would be beneficial
A solid understanding of governance, safeguarding, and contractual reporting
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging professionals at all levels
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher)
Ability to manage your workload independently, meet deadlines, and adapt under pressure
A flexible, reliable, and team-focused approach

Where you will be working:

Lakefield’s Neurological Centre, Lambourne Road, Chigwell, IG7 6HH

Lakefields Neurological Centre will be a 22-bed service that delivers specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for people with complex long-term neurological conditions who require ongoing support and assistance to maximise their functional ability and improve their quality of life. The Centre specialises in neuro-rehabilitation, tracheostomy and ventilator care.
Bedrooms are adapted to individual requirements, fitted with high dependency equipment including ceiling track hoists, wall mounted suction and oxygen equipment. There are also well-equipped therapy facilities, spacious lounge areas and wheelchair access to beautiful gardens.
