Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apparel Production & Print Shop Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a creative environment focused on apparel manufacturing and printing. The successful candidate will contribute to the production process, ensuring high-quality output while gaining valuable experience in production, and printing techniques. This paid position is ideal for individuals passionate about textiles, manufacturing, and craftsmanship.
You will be part of a tight, hands-on production team. You will help turn blank garments into finished products ready for customers and wholesale partners. The work is practical, varied, and fast-paced. Quality and consistency matter every day.
You will move between print, finishing, and warehouse tasks. You will take ownership of your area and support the wider team when needed.
Duties
- Production & Finishing
- Operate folding machines to a clean, consistent standard
Warehouse & Stock
- Receive and check deliveries against purchase orders
- Log and organise incoming stock accurately
- Maintain tidy, efficient stock locations
- Pick and prepare orders for dispatch
- Support regular stock counts and inventory audits
General Operations
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe
- Support production planning by flagging stock or supply issues early
- Follow processes to maintain speed, accuracy, and quality
- Work closely with the team to hit daily and weekly targets
- Tag, bag, and prepare garments for dispatch
- Assist with screen printing setup and runs
- Operate embroidery machines, including basic setup and monitoring
- Carry out quality checks on prints, stitching, and finished goods
Requirements
- Experience in a production, print, and warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Confident with numbers, stock levels, and basic systems
- Reliable, consistent, and supportive team member
- Able to work at pace without losing accuracy
- Hands-on and practical, you get stuck in
- Good communication and a positive attitude
Bonus if you have:
- Experience with screen printing or garment decoration
- Experience using embroidery machines
- Knowledge of apparel production workflows
- Forklift licence or warehouse systems experience
