Sales & Events Executive
Salary: From £25,000 per year + performance bonus
Expected earnings: £30,000 - £35,000 per year including performance-related bonuses
Location: Across The Hurt Arms (Ambergate), The White Hart (Moorwood Moor), The Canal Inn (Bullbridge) and The Horse & Jockey (Wessington)

We are looking for an ambitious, outgoing and commercially minded Sales & Events Executive to help drive business growth across our portfolio of premium hospitality venues.
Our group includes award-winning pubs, restaurants, wedding venues, hotel accommodation and large outdoor event spaces. We host over 100 weddings per year, large-scale events, private functions, corporate meetings and thousands of guests every month.
This is a newly created role and an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships and generating new business.
We are not looking for someone to simply manage incoming enquiries. We are looking for someone who can actively help us grow.
The Role
You will work closely with our management, wedding and marketing teams to identify opportunities, generate enquiries and increase bookings across the group.
Areas of focus will include:
- Weddings
- Private functions
- Corporate events and meetings
- Christmas parties
- Birthday celebrations
- Wakes and family gatherings
- Restaurant group bookings
- Outdoor events and festivals
- Hotel and accommodation packages
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct venue show rounds for prospective clients.
- Follow up enquiries and maximise conversion opportunities.
- Attend wedding fairs and networking events.
- Build relationships with local businesses and organisations.
- Develop new corporate accounts and partnerships.
- Promote our venues to local communities and groups.
- Identify opportunities for new events and revenue streams.
- Work with our marketing team to support promotional campaigns.
- Help develop and sell seasonal packages, including Christmas and summer events.
- Maintain excellent customer relationships throughout the booking process.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:

- Comfortable speaking with customers and businesses.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Organised and able to manage multiple projects.
- Commercially aware and driven by results.
- A team player with a positive attitude.
Previous experience in hospitality, events, weddings, sales, customer service or business development would be advantageous, but personality and attitude are just as important.
A full UK driving licence is preferred.
