Site Engineer – Infrastructure
Location – Beverley, East Yorkshire
What you will be doing
As a General Foreman on our new highways project in Beverley, you will manage daily construction activities, ensuring a safe working environment and effective resource coordination.
You will work closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager in order to ensure that safety, quality, and program standards are met while maintaining clear communication with all teams.
Work with the Senior Engineer and site team to deliver setting out and engineering control for the highways project.
Help maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive working environment for everyone on site.
Coordinate engineering activities and share clear information with operatives and subcontractors.
Keep accurate daily site records, including diary entries and photographic evidence.
Carry out material reconciliations and maintain organised project documentation.
Calibrate surveying equipment and complete as-built surveys to support quality assurance.
Produce 2D and 3D site sketches and assist with planning and continuous improvement activities.
Support the development of junior engineers and contribute to effective waste and resource management.
About You
Able to interpret drawings and technical data accurately while working safely on site.
Experience with setting out techniques such as Level, EDM and GPS.
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to working with others.
HND (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and a valid CSCS card.
