Full job description

Salary: £13.50 per hour + discretionary bonus (after probation period)
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We've recently opened our brand new show site at Simpsons Garden Centre in Inverness and are seeking a motivated and personable Sales Representative to help lead sales due to rapid growth.

This is a unique opportunity to take part in a developing site, work independently at times, and play a key role in driving sales performance. You will be based on-site within one of our cabins, engaging directly with customers and delivering a high-quality, consultative sales experience.

With a strong and growing market for cabins and an excellent product offering, this role offers significant potential for the right individual to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for customers visiting the show site
Build strong rapport with prospective buyers and understand their needs
Guide customers through the product range and sales process
Lead and manage all sales activity with a team at the Inverness site
Maintain high standards of customer service and presentation
Work independently (lone working required at times)
Support the ongoing development and success of a new site
Work weekends as part of the role requirements

About You

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills and a natural ability to connect with people. While sales experience is desirable, it is not essential.

Essential:

Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confident, approachable, and self-motivated
Ability to work independently and take initiative
A positive and professional attitude

Desirable:

Previous sales experience
Full UK driving licence

We currently operate two successful show sites in Brechin and Glasgow and are continuing to expand. This new Inverness location represents an exciting stage of growth for the business, and we are looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey. Our customers love our product and we pride ourselves on our 5* service.
