We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in meal preparation during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, and grills
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Support the team during inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Previous kitchen experience is highly desirable, especially in a fast-paced setting
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail in meal presentation and quality control
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if required
