Full job description

Hours: 12 - 36 hours / week (negotiable), part-time, please state hours preferred in your application

Salary: £26,696 - £28,988 per annum, pro-rata

Holiday: 35 days per annum (including public holidays) pro-rata

Shift pattern: 12 hour shifts - Day (07.30-20.00), Night (19.30-08.00)

Sponsorship: Not applicable for this vacancy

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Senior Nurse, you can expect your working day to include the following:

Support the nursing and wider multi-disciplinary team, to provide excellent holistic, patient centred palliative care.
Be part of a highly skilled and driven team including nurses, doctors, physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Social worker, Chaplain and volunteers.
Daily duties supporting patients with their physical and emotional needs.
Assisting with personal care, toileting, bathing, dressing and meals.
Working within a friendly, dynamic, positive and vibrant environment.
