Driver, L'Arche Highland
ABOUT THE ROLE
Hours of work: Variable (including mornings, evenings, overnights, and weekends as required, including bank holidays, as required).
Salary: £13.34 per hour
Place of work: Across all of L’Arche Highland’s services, currently based in and around Inverness
Contract type: Relief (as and when required)
Closing date: Monday, 27th July at 9:00 am
Notes: This position does not offer sponsorship and is best suited for a candidate already located in the Inverness and the Highland area.
Main purpose of the role:
We are looking for a reliable and flexible driver to join our team on an ad hoc basis.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, have a full, valid driving licence, and be available to work flexible hours at short notice when needed.
As a driver, you will support adults with learning disabilities, our Core Members, to live their best life possible through driving them around in their vehicle. You will always have a Support Assistant in the vehicle in order to ensure that you can solely focus on driving.
If you become our driver, you will:

Respond flexibly to enable Core Members to be able to attend appointments, attend activities, or visit places.

Ensure that the vehicle is safe to drive.

Report any safeguarding or adult support and protect concerns to the line manager.
