The role
Working closely with the Reception Manager and wider Front Office team, you will play a key role in delivering a warm, friendly and efficient service to every guest, ensuring their stay is memorable from arrival to departure. You’ll also:
- Welcome guests and provide a friendly and professional first impression at all times
- Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy in reservations and billing
- Respond to guest enquiries, requests and calls promptly and effectively
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services and the local area
- Ensure all payment processes are handled in line with company procedures
- Maintain a clean, organised and presentable reception area
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping and other departments to support guest needs
- Handle guest feedback and complaints in a professional and positive manner
- Some operational duties may include, not limited to, assistance with guest luggage and room drops.
About you
As a Guest Services Assistant, you will be passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality and creating positive experiences for every guest. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being part of a collaborative team. You will also have:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail
- Confidence in handling guest enquiries, bookings and requests
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- A proactive and solutions-focused attitude
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build positive relationships across departments
- Basic IT skills and confidence using reservation or booking systems
