Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) Advisor to join our organisation. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with safety standards, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and supporting organisational health and safety initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about safety management and environmental responsibility to contribute to a secure and sustainable workplace.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

Maintain and update QMS system
Development and review of Risk Assessments and Work Instructions
Monitor and maintenance of the site training matrix
Drive through ISO 14001 accreditation
Site inspections
RIDDOR investigations
In conjunction with Site management responsible for site safety
Planning and conducting QHSE internal audits.
Planning, preparing and chairing the management review.
Keeping the NCR log up-to-date and ensuring they are closed in a timely manner.
Ensuring the action tracker is up-to-date and actions are closed accordingly.
Ensuring evaluation of compliance is conducted.
Ensuring company is aware of any legislation changes that affect them – also updating the legal register.
Ensuring the SWOT/PESTEL/risk register is populated with up-to-date information and actions are managed.
Update and maintain Business Continuity plan
Ensuring procedures/processes/manuals/policies/forms are up-to-date and revised as required.

Qualifications & Experience

Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate (NGC).
Hold Internal auditor certification
Have membership of a related professional body and evidence of continuous development.
Excellent verbal and written communication
Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages
Experienced in hands-on operations/site based HSE role

Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
